Yes my old man has a 1998 xlch with a 92" stroker and a Bandit clutch. That is what they recommend. I think you would need fresh clutch plates and use ATF.

Straight 50wt HD Oil. If it's hot and you're on a trip, run 60wt.

Wolf Shirts ain't all bad - hey, use Bel Ray 75W in the primary(dry clutch plates) and use HD Sportster Primary Oil (for wet clutch plates)

That's my favorite Ness bike. I've been thinking about going to the J&p open house and now I'm really torn. Couch surfing is cheep fuel is not. Hummm
