    I bought one of those tan & creme (H-D's spelling) special edition FLHC Classics brand new in '79. Exactly like that one. First never owned by anyone else, from the Dealership bike I bought. It cost me $5,400.00

    I rode it until '86, when I traded it in on a '86 FLHTC Evo. The Dealership gave me $4,900 trade in on the '79 FLHC, and it sat on the floor for only a week before it sold.

    Every time I see a '79 FLHC like your buddies, I wish I still had it.

    My first Big Twin was a 1978 FLH. Bought it in 1988 with 4600mi on the clock. Full dress all original. Comfortflex buddy seat, even a TOUR PACK. Raised alot of hell in Junction City Kansas on that pig. I even like the hamcan air cleaner!
