Bump Start . . .

Do this with a Twin Cam too many times and throw the flywheels out-of-true - eat your oil pump bearing and ruin your day.....

    What causes that? The shock load during starting, or ???? Does it twist the crank or cause the tapers to slip?

    The jolt moves one flywheel 1/2 a bit on the crank pin taper.
