I trip it down to Kansas City early Friday . . .
$500 Truck with $8,000 bike in the back
and a couple tubs o' swap meet parts.
Ricky's still at work - so, I unload the K and start exploring the
Missouri backroads - and do some trails. 75 degrees and sunny.
After a relaxing micro brew - I head back to Ricky's to
check out the shop and his projects !
Way cool shop - everywhere you look.
The total set-up.
After pizza - we head to the Punk Rod Shop
The K Model blastin' into the heart of KC at night.
What a Trip Out !
Lights, Traffic, Curves - Just Revin' the Little K
The most fun is when you're a little nervous !
Glad to have buddy. You are welcome anytime. Next time maybe you'll bring a bike that can do the speed limit. Ha
ReplyDeleteNoot, had a friend drive a '62 c-10 to the Torquefest with 2 Toppers in the back and was offered 5grand for 'em, NO SALE so Iguess old trucks atract attention. Or maybe it was the Italian irom in the back.................
ReplyDeleteToppers were made in USA, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteIf they were "machs", probably only a grand or two . . .
ReplyDeleteThey are a'61 and '63. I figured they had the Aeromachi 2 srokes in them. He has another roller with the power train intact for parts.
