Any pics of the intake for those dual Amals? Was it a split plenum, or a 2-into-1 deal?
You could send a note to Ryan Hartman (von-hartman) and I'm sure he'd tell you all about it. He's just cool as hell. That was the first chopper he ever built ! Look out everyone !
