There is a civil war reenactment near Bradford (Nashua), Iowa this Saturday. I believe I'll go witness the battle. The photo above is from around 1863 near Hagerstown, Maryland. Dead soldiers. Not a pretty sight. Hope the boys in Nashua use blanks?

It should be a good time. My Dad and I were to help out there this weekend, but My nephew graduates in Kansas city. So we are heading that way tomorrow afternoon.
The weekend of the 6th june, We will be doing a 1770's period 2 day river trek down the Wapsie. We will put in at the Zell access on Bremer county road C-33. Your welcome to come along if you want. Should be fun, you dont have to have period dress. I have another canoe.
