Fuck, I hate that. It doesn't take but few seconds to put that lower end in a lawn and leaf bag, and put the twist tie around the end. Nothing I hate more than digging peanuts out of/off of greasy, oily engines and transmissions - regardless of the fact that they have to come apart, or not.
Getting ready to do the same thing to my '72 CH bottom end, except Im going two blocks to Baisley Hi-Performance. The whole family used to drag race and flattrack Ironheads and XRs back in the 60s and 70s. Good folks...
