Was riding with big bunch on old bikes north of Spearfish to Belle Fouche, road had rain grooves, the guy's that were rolling on these Goodyear looking repops were weaving to the point of scary.
I had the repop Firestones with a similar grooved pattern an they grabbed the rain grooves abit plus old steel grated bridge flooring but you just have to have a light touch on the grips and give the old iron it's head. Kinda like a horse.
Everything I ride is different. Safe, but just old and loose. If I had a sport bike or a new Dyna, I wouldn't be able to ride the old stuff anymore. I better stick where I'm at with no brakes, too much power and cheesy tread. Then I don't ride too fast and I get to see a bit more scenery.

I like a little slippage.
