Retro Rewind Dubuque, Iowa 2015

I asked the builder of the Norton "How's it run?" . . . . His reply, "She's fast !"

Awesome !

My wife is cool . . .

Hangin' with Chad & Chris . . .

They always got something goin' on . . . I can dig it.

K or KH Upper Motor Mount Spacer

I'm missing one spacer . . . Maybe you have one ?

Vertical Magneto Delete

Cylinder Head Fixture

This head needs the head gasket surface fly-cut.  The rocker arm studs are still in this head.  Big Noot dug out this fixture for panheads and shovelheads.  It has a series of holes to displace the studs - and it bolts directly to a precision ground surface.  He made it so you have a couple different ways to mount this to your mill bed.  The head sits level, indicate with thin shims for ultimate precision.  The fixture also swivels to allow seat cutting if necessary.  Saves a lot of time.

"Krusty"

In 1938 - this motorcycle engine was spankin' new . . .
As per the owner's request,
I'm rebuilding this engine and leaving the outside
with original patina.
Rebuilt . . . without losing a look of age.
I call him "Krusty" with a "K"

1957 - New Year's Resolutions

I need to start "dressing the part" when riding motorcycles.  The rider's cap, proper boots, proper collared shirt . . . get a bit more professional.
For 2015 . . . I will try to take my motorcycling hobby a step further.  Proper dress and motorcycling etiquette are being overlooked in our sport.  Whether it be an AMA Club or Outlaw Club . . . a proper dress code uniform is a key aspect of respect - for you as an individual enthusiast, and/or a member of a club - and the sport of motorcycling.
