I remember the first time I heard Noot called Bob, I looked around wondering who they were talking to until he spoke....not sure why that sticks in my mind but given the respect my father and uncle gave him it seemed almost sinful. Some killer times in that old shop of his and Sturgis in '97 riding along your dad on main street I thought to myself....im cruising main with 'Noot....for a punk kid without with to appreciate the gravity of the moment only underlines the impact he had on myself and countless others......to that I say....Happy Birthday Bob....I mean NOOT!
Happy Birthday to Big Noot!--i remember hearing his name from DA on a regular basis, then got to meet him years later in 1983 or so--legendary bike mechanic and all around good guy! You come from good stock Ricky Noot Jr!
