Cool Pipes

I like the pinch-pipe on the front (so you don't have that big, ugly loop around the frame) Maybe some little, short OEM XLCH mufflers, slightly staggered.  Can you buy pipes like this for a panhead?  What are they called exactly?  It would be easier . . .

I call that front pipe a" squish pipe", can't believe that is the correct term. Have that on my shovelhead now.
As for the bends that are shown,Im sure a few pipe companies make that style.

Don't you have pipes sort of like that on your chopper? I know Superior made that style with the little bracket that bolts the rear pipe to the oil tank tray. They also made long mufflers that you could mount either aligned or offset. I've just seen that style referred to as Superior shotguns. You can still find them around, even in NOS. Cheers! Thanks for the blog!

Nobody does it but, it would sound bitchen if reverse cone mufflers, for like
a BSA Gold Star were used.. And you'd have pipes that nobody else is using..

I haven't looked in awhile but there was a guy always selling NOS Superior pipes of various styles on ebay. I'm sure he sold Shotguns. They weren't very expensive but the way things have gone the last few years they might be stupidly high now.
