You are so right Ricky Noot,,,Presently restoring my 1959 XLCH and my old 1968 XLCH stroker. I bought it new in 1968 serial #xlch 10195..I am at the point of making that decision on the '59...right now...Although my stroker has the retard style mount, I never used it...Sifton minus minus helped that situation, P cams for the '59,,, ugh,,...George and Marjorie Smith supplied the 4 5/8 wheels and that 1 7/8 carb and airhorn that looks like a small sewer pipe,,lol. Doc Dytch furnished the 3 3/16 Jugs and original pistons that are now up to 3 1/4 with W & S tricked out pistons with the buttons and flame trough..Jerry Branch did my heads while still at Long Beach Harley...He was still flowing brass in the ports at that time...Jerry got me the C ratio trans gears,,and while he was doing the Harley Iron XR work for Harley, he gave me the Harley part # for the Offy exh. valves,,which I am still running......Great site you got...lot of stuff you and your Dad do are where my interest has been for long time...great photos and tech tips,,,thanks Ricky...
