Knuckle Shuffle in Yuba, Wisconsin

Awesome roads, the coolest friends, great cause for a celebration and party in the highest form of bikerdom.  Motorcycles of all years and types.  Refreshments, food, music - just a real damn good time !

Hop on that scoot and hit the road - bring a tent, a tarp or a Visa card . . .

Cobra Jet

A bit rough with 4 speed and big Ford motor.  California plates.  Perfect for Ford Fanatics !

Potential . . .

Having the ability to see beyond just "the vanity" side of something is difficult for some people.  A piece of rusted metal in the tall grass is just junk to some . . . others see the potential.  A old panhead leaking oil, a knuckle with dents in the fenders . . . A few of my own experiences:
1. The girl you don't remember at the class reunion.
(She's like, Hi Rick . . . uhhh ?)
2. The beat '73 Camaro with rust, blow-by and mismatched rims.
( It blew my doors off ! )
3. The plate of slop - is this guts or worms?
( Went back for sloppy 2nds . . . )

Thanks Pete !

 . . . you did a great job with paint & clear !   Coolest rotor around . .

Jockey Dreams . . .

  . . . and juice brakes.

Still in the family . . .

This 1946 FL was purchased new from a dealership in Des Moines.  The owner ran an autobody shop in Evansdale, Iowa for years . . . and this fine machine was then passed on to the son.  Lots of tastefully done custom touches throughout the bike.  (like the rear seat rail added chrome embellishments)  It was great to see the kid still riding it, telling the stories, and keeping his father's memory alive.

" W " Motors

A great place to take your date - great food, friendly service.  You don't take a number, and they don't take your name.  You sit where you want - and they somehow find you.  Good Stuff Jose !

Gettin' the big juicer brake all figured out.  McFarland spun me out a spacer - now she's lined up and lookin' good.  Fun, simple stuff these rigids.  Mechanical would be easier - but, why take the easy way?

DA Enterprises 4" Risers - Restored

McFarland made me some caps (which were missing) and I sanded and polished to my lil' hearts content.  Now I'm so happy and filled with joy, since they look so cool - and Rich told me where they came from - so I know a bit of history.

Always measure new cam gears and pinions . . . nothing is ever "bolt in . . . "  Just waiting on parts from Morris Magneto.  I'm not real happy with them right now, they're cuttin' me close . . . poor planning on their part does not constitute an emergency on my part.  Send Morty out there..

Working on motors next to your dad (mine is Big Noot), isn't always real glorious.  But, you can learn a thing or two if you pay attention.  I always use those band-type ring compressors.  You can struggle a bit with them - gettin' the thing on straight, loosening the bolt, tightening, jockey'n with the thing.  I've always noticed these cast-ring-type compressors in the drawer with all the Harley tools.  They work slick.  They are all tapered and smooth inside - slip right on - less apt to break a ring.  Slide right off the bottom.  Trick man !  He's even got one stashed for 3 5/8" big bore pistons.  Huh, what do you know ?????

Just Go . . .

This photo just makes a guy want to go around a track . . .

I say, "Go with S&S Cycle."
