Buddy Seat Bonanza

If everyone would run a buddy seat on their motorcycle, all the aftermarket seat companies will be out-of-business. #mostcomfortablemotorcycleseatevermade

Snooping around on the streamliner . . .

 Hmmmm?  Long reach plugs.
Heads plumbed for external oil drain lines.
 1C10506H0 means 1970XR cases I think?
I've noticed many of the actual H-D Race Team engines have serial
numbers that start with "5" (or have a 5 in there somewhere)

I don't believe this is the original motor that went the distance . . . but it's got some rare parts, cases, heads, carb, etc . . .  I looked in and saw the seat where Cal sat . . . and the handlebars that come apart with one bolt to help you get in . . . just like On Any Sunday.  My whole $9.00 admission charge(regularly $10.00, but I used my AMA card to get a $1 discount) was spent looking at this thing.  The pipes were falling off . . .

Support Your Local Motorcycle Dealership

. . . and use only genuine Harley-Davidson parts.  I try to support our local dealer (The Cedar River Harley-Davidson Shop: Phone: 641-228-2192)  I buy all my oil from them, and promote motorcycle, parts and service sales to many who ask me . . . ( wish the oil still came in these orange and black cans !

Before you buy your next bike, see their inventory online, or call them for availability on new or used models.  Cedar River has a great crew - and they sell many motorcycles to customers all over the country.  Tell 'em Noot sent ya . . .

Just a chirp . .

Project '54 Panhead Motor

I've been checkin' out all my endplay, bushing fit, magneto gear mesh distance . . . oh, and my generator gear lash.
Made some gear cover dowel pins, fitted my cyl. base studs and drilled my case for 5/16" generator bolts.  New idler gear bushing and everything looks good considering this thing was a mess . . .
Hey Wiley . . . I got some shit done !
My cylinders are over at McFarland's (he's using Noot's live center cone) to turn about .100 off the bases to get my pistons up a bit more where we want 'em.  Always something . . . .

TECH: Lil' Chris' Stroker Motor

This tool has a special "step" to install the Torringtons the correct depth.

I did get a few things done before I left to go play . . .
I sourced these special copper washers to get my installed spring correct if needed . . .
They fit perfectly over the guides (and under the lower collar)
